“Joyride” hereby rents to the undersigned renter with the vehicle described on the agreement which has been read, accepted and signed by the renter.

Only the person referred to the agreement is permitted to drive the vehicle.

The renter confirms that before taking delivery of the vehicle has examined it and found it without any defects, except those shown on the remarks.

The renter who wishes to remove the vehicle from the island, has to have a written consent from the owner.

If the renter will not appear two (2) hours after the confirmed pick up time and do not notice through phone any delay “Joyride” has the right to declare No show and not provide the car in case of show up later.

Return of the car after 9:30 am is considered next day rental.

Return of the car earlier than the date stated, renter will be charged based on rental agreement.

Cancellation must be a minimum of 14 days prior to pick update for a full refund.

Damages to wheels, tires, and windows, interior and under the car are the full responsibility of the renter and are not covered.

The renter will return the vehicle concerned with all tools, accessories and equipment to “Joyride” or as otherwise specified on the undersigned pages of the agreement.

The renter must hold a valid European or international license, issued at least one year before the rental car will not be provided to renters without a European or international Driving License.

The minimum age for renters is 23 years old. The maximum renters’ age is 72 years old.

Minimum rental is (1) one day.

Fuel consumption is paid by the renter. Vehicles must be returned with the same level of fuel. No refunds are for vehicles returned with more fuel.

Upon pick up of the vehicle, “Joyride” will preauthorize an amount from the driver’s credit card as a deposit for guarantee which will be fully refunded at the end of the rental, provided no other charge arise. Please note that the refund may take up to 14 days, depending on the issuing bank of the credit card. Cash deposits are also accepted.

If the vehicle is returned in an excessively dirty condition a fee will be charged.

In case of breakdown or mechanical damage the customer is responsible for transporting the vehicle back to the store. If it is not possible then the store should be informed of the exact location and will arrange a collection for which the customer is obligated to pay. The customer will also be charged for any damage occurring to the vehicle(s) including punctures.

The renter being responsible for an accident or damage to the vehicle must pay the corresponding daily agreed amount for the days the vehicle is immobilized.

All fines and court costs for parking, traffic or other legal violations assessed against the vehicle renter during the terms of the agreement are at the renter’s expense.

The lessor reserves the right to repossess the vehicle at any time without notice, at the customer’s expense, if the vehicle is used in violation of this agreement.

The car should not be operated: a) for paid transportation b) to propel or tow any vehicle or transport c) in any race, speed test or contest d) by any person under the influence of intoxicants or narcotics e) to carry passengers in excess of the respective seating capacity f) on other than a paved road or public highway g) by any person without the lessor’s prior permission h) by someone, less than 23 years or age or a disqualified or unlicensed driver.

Our cars are covered against liability by third parties (including passengers and the driver in our vehicle) for death or damage to property, according to the insurance rules and regulations. Coverage is not provided: a) if any unauthorized driver is driving the rental car b) for damage loss, or theft of baggage and other property found in the car.

The renters liability for damage to the rented vehicle may be reduced under the condition that the Greek Traffic Law is not violated, to a minimum charge of 10 euro per day with Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) insurance with access to 500 euro.

In case of difference between the contracted parties the Hellenic courts only will have the jurisdiction.

Vehicle must be returned, normal wear and tear excepted in the same condition as when rented.

In case the renter is not satisfied with the car then has to inform “Joyride” immediately to arrange to change it.

A loss of keys fee applies in the amount of the price of the official car dealer and the cost of the delivery.

Damages by weather conditions are not covered by the insurance and renter is responsible.
